The Company

Founded in 1991, Latin America Translations is a British-run company and has operations in the UK, US and South America.

We offer a comprehensive, two-way translation service between English and Brazilian Portuguese. We also translate between other languages, such as Spanish (European and South American), French, Italian and German. Our translators only work into their mother tongue and boast extensive experience in their respective fields.

We also provide in-house translators who can assist foreign personnel by translating meetings and documents, on a part-time or full-time basis. Please contact us for further information.

Business Translations

A large part of our translation volume refers to everyday business documents, i.e. proposals, letters, reports, contracts and so on.

Legal and Financial

We also translate a great deal of legal and financial documents for some of the largest law firms and auditors in the world. These documents include financial statements, earnings reports, balance sheets and other more complex documents like tax analyses, legislation and regulations and court documents, such as petitions and judges’ opinions.

Oil and Gas and the Environment

We have a specialist team that handles a whole range of documents to do with the oil and gas industry and the environment. Technical manuals, industry standards and field reports all lie within our capabilities.

Software Localization

We are proficient in software localization and fully aware of the translation cycle involved.
